Capoeira Kids' Classes

Kids' classes are a fun way to learn dance, music, gymnastics, martial arts and the Portuguese language. This unique combination of activities makes Capoeira incomparable to other martial arts and after-school programs. Capoeira promotes both strong physical and emotional development while allowing children to learn respect, courtesy and social skills.

Class runs from 12:30 - 1:30 pm on Saturdays. Each session is 6 weeks in length.

Session 1: April 25th - May 30th
Session 2: June 6th - July 18th (no classes on July 4th holiday weekend)

The Price is $75 per session.

Fringe Festival Performance: Dances of the Orixas Maculele Capoeira

With Special Guest Performer Mariano Silva from Bahia, Salvador. Colorful costumes and live music are just a taste of what these vibrant, traditional Afro-Brazilian dances have to offer. Experience the dynamic power of Brazilian arts here in Philly!
